Opening Hours and Billing

Monday, Tuesday: 9am – 5pm
Wednesday: 9am – 6pm
Thursday, Friday: 9am – 5pm
Saturday: 9am – 12pm
Sunday: Closed

(Please note private billing on Saturdays is for all patients)
  • We are a privately billing practice and full payments are expected on the day.
  • Standard Consult $75
  • Long consult $110

Saturday Billing

We are open Saturdays, from 9am – 12pm. We wish to advise that the billing for Saturday is completely private. Any new patients will be charged $90 for a standard consultation and our reception team can send through to Medicare for your rebate, or if available process it on the day for immediate payment.

Other Services

For other services like care plans, health checks, workers compensation and procedures, please ask your doctor or one of our highly skilled receptionists who can guide you through the bookings. Medicare rebates can be claimed immediately in most circumstances. Patients without Medicare card will be privately billed. Some services like insurance medicals cannot claim a Medicare rebate. Bulk billing available to children 15 and under and aged pensioners and DVA card holders. Health care card holders will have a $10 discount on the final fee for the day. Repeat Prescriptions We prefer patients to see the GP to get repeat prescriptions. This could be an opportunity for them to see you for the right dose and the need to continue the medication.

Referrals to specialists

If the doctor considers that a medical need exists for specialist treatment a referral will be provided. It is therefore important to make an appointment with the doctor who will discuss your problem with you and help you to decide on the appropriate course of action. It is not possible to backdate a referral so please see your doctor before the specialist appointment to obtain one.

Medical certificates

Medical certificates are legal documents. In order to obtain a medical certificate, a consultation with your doctor is required. It is not legal to backdate a certificate.

Privacy Policy

The provision of quality healthcare requires a doctor-patient relationship of trust and confidentiality. Your Medical Record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff. A full copy of our privacy policy is available on request.

Problems and Complaints

We believe that problems are best dealt with within the practice. Please feel free to talk to your doctor or the receptionist about any problems you may have with the service we provide. More complex problems may be referred to the practice manager. A compliments and complaints box is available in the practice.
